Former pastor facing sex charges out on bond

SANDUSKY — A former pastor facing sex charges involving children was released from the Erie County jail on bond.Richard Mick, 57, posted an $80,000 bond March 21 to be released from the jail, according to Erie County common pleas court records. Jail records state he was jailed for 181 days. According to a court document, conditions of Mick's release include:• He be placed under house arrest with an electronic monitor. His listed address is in the 8000 block of Ohio 101 in Castalia.• He cannot leave the residence without prior consent of the adult probation department.• He must report to the probation department twice monthly.Mick faces charges of felony rape and gross sexual imposition in two cases. Mick's case gained attention after, in 2016, his attorney K.
