Police: Man found with loaded gun

SANDUSKY — Police arrested a Castalia man Saturday after he allegedly tried to swallow a bag of suspected drugs and was carrying a loaded handgun without a license.Scott Frische, 53, of South Washington Street, was charged with felony carrying a concealed weapon and misdemeanor driving under suspension, marijuana possession, marijuana paraphernalia possession and expired registration.An officer pulled over Frische's car on Johnson Street and Hayes Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. because the vehicle's registration was expired, according to a Sandusky police report.Police asked Frische to step out of the car for a vehicle inventory after they told him his license was suspended and the car needed to be towed, the report states.After stepping out of the car, police said Frische allegedly put his hand to his mouth and vomited, then removed a baggie of marijuana from his mouth, according to the report.Police handcuffed Frische and he told them he had a gun in his waistband, the report states.
