Report: Woman used pumpkin in assault

SANDUSKY — Police arrested a Sandusky woman Monday for allegedly pushing a man and throwing a small pumpkin at his head.Emily Donaldson, 35, of the 900 block of Fourth St., was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and assault.The alleged assault occurred at Donaldson's Fourth Street home, according to a Sandusky police report.A man claimed Donaldson argued with him and allegedly pushed him before he left the home, according to the report. While he was in his car, Donaldson allegedly walked up and threw a softball-sized pumpkin through the window, which the man claimed hit him in the head.The man told police he then grabbed the pumpkin and threw it in the air "out of frustration," the report states. Police found a cracked pumpkin in a nearby backyard, and the man said he believed it was the one he threw.
