"Our guests, especially our gold and platinum passholders, have told us they want more Charlie Brown, more Linus, more Peppermint Patty and more Peanuts. For 17 days in June they are going to get that."Peanuts Celebration DetailsThere is no better time to visit Kings Island than for the debut of the brand new Peanuts Celebration, June 1-17. A similar event took place at Knott's Berry Farm — another Cedar Fair park in Buena Park, California — earlier this year, and we absolutely loved it.Each day of the event starts off with a special Peanuts Celebration show on International Street. Then head into Planet Snoopy, where guests will enjoy non-stop character shows throughout the day.Guests will have the opportunity to meet the newest character to join the Peanuts gang at Kings Island, PigPen, during four meet-and-greet sessions each day. There will also be specialty crafts, a Peanuts Sketch School, where you learn to draw your favorite characters, see a special Life and Art of Charles M. Shulz exhibit and, of course, no event would be complete without Peanuts-themed menu options.Exclusive Peanuts Party for gold and platinum passholdersEach Saturday and Sunday (June 2-3; June 9-10 and June16-17) from 9-10 a.m. passholders have a special invitation to an exclusive Peanuts party. Planet Snoopy will open one hour early with select Planet Snoopy rides, character meet-and-greets, breakfast snacks and other exclusive activities only available to Gold and Platinum Passholders.Families will not want to miss this opportunity to visit Kings Island, as the Peanuts Celebration offers a unique opportunity to experience the park that kids are going to love. Do not worry parents, your reward comes in the form of reliving your childhood, as you can still enjoy a famous Kings Island blue ice cream cone.
