Sandusky woman caught baby falling from roof

SANDUSKY — A passerby on Sunday caught a young child who fell from a porch roof.The incident occurred in the 1300 block of Mills St. at about 2:15 p.m., according to a Sandusky police report.A Sandusky woman driving on Mills Street saw an 18-month-old boy hanging from the edge of a porch roof, and she stopped her car in the road and ran to the house, the report states. The woman started to hit her arm the side of the home to try to get the attention of someone inside.The toddler then fell from the roof, but the woman caught the boy in her arms, according to the report.
