Thief strips adult store of stock

PERKINS TWP. — A thief reportedly stole half the available inventory from an adult store in Perkins Township Saturday night. Boudoir Noir is described as a romance and fantasy superstore located on Milan Road (U.S. 250) just north of Kalahari Resort."With a loss so big, small local businesses like ours may not survive," a statement on the store's Facebook page read. "If you see (our) product on the streets or on local sites like Facebook or Craigslist, please help us locate our product and find the person that did this."The store sells romance toys, novelty items, bath products, supplements, lingerie, costumes and more, according to the company website. Perkins police are investigating the burglary, Perkins police Chief Robb Parthemore told the Register. Anyone with information on the crime is encouraged to call police at 419-627-0824."Our community and businesses need to look out for one another regardless if (you) like or dislike our type of business," the store's statement read. "It is important that our community is aware of this bold thief because they will strike again. It takes a village for all us to work together.
