Two more boys charged in Fremont shooting

FREMONT — Police charged two more people in connection with Sunday's shooting death of a 14-year-old Fremont boy.Fremont police on Sunday arrested two 14-year-old boys and charged them each with obstructing official business, according to a Fremont police report.A third 14-year-old boy was arrested Sunday on charges of burglary, tampering with evidence, obstructing official business and involuntary manslaughter. Police believe this boy shot 14-year-old Jaylan Brock in the 300 block of Jackson St. shortly before 5 p.m.Brock later died en-route to the hospital, according to a news release.Police located a .38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver along with the cartridge of a fired bullet and an unfired bullet in a cardboard box in the 100 block of Hickory St. — just a few blocks away from where the shooting took place, according to a police report.The gun allegedly used in the shooting was reported stolen several hours earlier from a home in the 200 block of Park Ave., another police report stated.
