Mural painting begins

SANDUSKY — Downtown Sandusky is becoming more colorful. With the city's upcoming bicentennial, the Greetings Tour was hired to paint and design a mural. It's being painted on the exterior wall of the State Theatre, overlooking the Jackson Street parking lot.The Greetings Tour consists of Victor Ving and Lisa Beggs, who travel around the country painting murals. They have a goal to paint a mural in each state. Sandusky's mural is the fourth mural the duo has done in Ohio.Weather permitting, the mural will be finished in about a week.
