Sandusky woman arrested for cocaine possession

SANDUSKY — Sandusky police arrested a woman during a traffic stop Thursday who had an active warrant for cocaine possession.Police charged Gina M. Marinucci, 43, of the 400 block of Meigs St., with cocaine possession, a fifth-degree felony, and she might face more charges for suspected drugs found in her car.The warrant originated from a Jan. 7 traffic stop where police found a smoking pipe and a white powder, according to a police report. Officers released Marinucci that night.After the powder was tested and found to contain cocaine, a warrant for drug possession was issued.The traffic stop Friday morning took place at East Monroe and Perry streets.
