A Peace Pole was planted May 15 at 407 Pearl St. in Sandusky.

When you plant a Peace Pole in your community, you are linking with people all over the world that have planted Peace Poles in the same spirit of peace. There are over 2000 Peace Poles. They can be found on all the continents around the world.

We were honored to do this at the residence of Bill Wright who was celebrating his 96th birthday.

Every Peace Pole proclaims the prayer:

May Peace Prevail on Earth

It is done in the language of the country and often several other languages as well.

Showing support were Bob Williams, Libertarian Candidate for District 58 and Judy Kayden, Candidate for District 80.
