hope they finish up better then they did when they worked on williams street, between cleveland road and rt.2, last year. horrible job ... had to come back and do all kind of mistakes the construction crew made, and took them forever  .... kind of like when work on the huron library was done in a shoddy manner ..... who pays for the crummy work? .... certainly not the ones who screwed it up!  ..... the people of huron who approve these projects must be gettin' something, on the side, for their recommendations!

Good things come to those who wait.  Thank you.

@yea right and grr, reread my post.........cleveland rd. from main st. to rye beach road is like driving down the railroad tracks.......with sections raised for the sewer covers and meter pits almost 6 to 8 inches higher than the rest of the road, its VERY dangerous to drive. With oncoming traffic, its comparable to banging into the curb and being thrown into the other lane!!!!!!!!!  The bridge is great, never said anything about hurrying or making it safe! Obviously, you don't have to drive there, or you would have understood my comment!!!  Typical sheep!!!!

yea right

darwin...i am a truck driver..i know bout bad roads..incomplete roads..dirt trails..try it in a straight truck sometime and you will appreciate what you have..

So happy the bridge is open!

And they started repaving (around the high school) this morning.

Now THAT sure is true! When you drive down Cleveland Road it feels like one long stretch of driving on a railroad track, not to mention an OBSTACLE COURSE having to go around all those dam* sewer covers and meter pits!

can't wait till they close cleveland rd., in huron, for another bridge fix ...... probably that one by the octogon house ....... i'm sure they'll be down for 2 months on that one ..... keep up the good work on draining our funds.

They worked all day Saturday paving Cleveland Road ---- and I must say they did a GOOD job!
