I pray that more people are waking up to the president of the United States. Americans are losing their jobs and lifestyle. However, our president is content to travel the world, have parties at the taxpayers' expense and continue to campaign. He also is wonderful at blaming everyone else for his continued failure. This person was elected to be president of the United States. As president, he has been placed in a position that requires leadership. Leaders accept responsibility and losers loathe responsibility

With total control of Congress, he has failed to accomplish anything. The only thing consistent with him is his continuous blaming of George Bush. President Bush was not perfect. However, he did not continually place blame on President Clinton. I know of no past presidents (Democrat or Republican) who blamed the previous administration.

Americans need to stop watching reality television and wake up to the reality of their life under this individual. He is an angry man. All you need is to start paying attention to the look on his face when he does not get his way.

Ahhhh Winston there was this one little country that spent it's way out of a Depression. Let me think for a minute, it's right on the tip of my tongue, give me a minute, got it, THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA, with it's massive Gov spending with FDR's programs and WWll's MASSIVE GOV SPENDING.

It good to see you finally "woke up" Dan after being in a deep sleep for 8 years during the Bush Presidency. And your foolish statement "However, he did not continually place blame on President Clinton. I know of no past presidents (Democrat or Republican) who blamed the previous administration." you and the Conservatives still blame Clinton for 9/11, still blame Clinton for the financial mess we are in now. So Dan while you were comatose for 8 years, Nush was the President between Clinton and Obama, and Bush was President during 9/11, and yes Bush was President when this financial mess started.

The next time you hear a right winger complaining that one whole year! into Obama's Presidency he continues to blame George Bush for his our problems, remind them of the following quote from Reagan's 1983 State of the Union:

"The problems we inherited were far worse than most inside and out of government had expected; the recession was deeper than most inside and out of government had predicted. Curing those problems has taken more time and a higher toll than any of us wanted."

In Reagan's 1982 State of the Union, he went after his predecessor for blame plenty of times:

"To understand the State of the Union, we must look not only at where we are and where we're going but where we've been. The situation at this time last year was truly ominous."

...

"In the last six months of 1980, as an example, the money supply increased at the fastest rate in postwar history 13 percent. Inflation remained in double digits and Government spending increased at an annual rate of 17 percent. Interest rates reached a s taggering 21 1/2 percent. There were eight million unemployed."

...

"First, we must understand what's happening at the moment to the economy. Our current problems are not the product of the recovery program that's only just now getting under way, as some would have you believe; they are the inheritance of decades of tax and tax, and spend"

...

"Now the budget deficit this year will exceed our earlier expectations. The recession did that. It lowered revenues and increased costs."
