Boil alert issued for Huron

The Huron Water Department has depressurized the waterline on Cleveland Road West between Silvern Street and Orangewood Road to make an emergency repair to the water main.

The Huron Water Department has depressurized the waterline on Cleveland Road West between Silvern Street and Orangewood Road to make an emergency repair to the water main.  

Now that water pressure has been restored, the following residences are advised to boil the water for one full minute prior to consumption. This alert pertains to all residences and businesses on streets both north and south of Cleveland Road between Silvern and Orangewood.
                     
The boil alert will remain in affect until further notice (at least until 9 p.m. tonight). If you have any questions, please call the Service Director, David Moyer, at 419-433-9502.

The water lines in Huron are so bad. Every other week we have one out. We have had a boil alert for alomst a month it feels like. You can see where the lines that cross cleveland road have raised the road. They need a huge replacement project. Cleveland road is gettting so bad.

I wondered if that was coming.  There was air shooting out of my pipes when I got home from work.  It's 8:31 and I have yet to recieve a door notice from the city WTF?
