Deborah Lash, 50, of the 1500 block of Roosevelt St., was charged Friday with felonious assault, tampering with evidence, theft and vandalism.
At about 4:30 p.m., Lash was determined to prevent her car from being repossessed, according to a Sandusky police report. As a tow truck prepared to haul away her Toyota SUV, Lash drove the vehicle off the truck, then repeatedly backed into it, the report said.
She then backed the SUV into the tow truck’s driver, knocking him to the ground before she drove off, the report said. Damages to the tow truck totaled at least $2,800, the driver said.
Then on Monday, a woman was arrested on assault charges at her home.
Carla Hendricks, 45, of the 1500 block of Cleveland Road, was charged with two counts each of felonious assault, domestic violence and aggravated menacing.
At about 9:30 a.m., Hendricks brandished a knife at her adult daughter and husband following an argument, according to a report. Hendricks went into a rage after her daughter suspected she stole a DVD to purchase drugs and refused to give her food, the report said.
Hendricks allegedly grabbed a steak knife and threatened to kill her daughter and husband, and she threw a glass bottle at her daughter, the report said.
Lash was released from the Erie County jail Monday, while Hendricks remains there without bond.
