David Endicott, 55, and Xiaomin Endicott-Feng, 42, were arrested Thursday afternoon at their home in the 100 block of W. Broadway St. in Plymouth, Huron County Chief Deputy Ted Patrick said.

Plymouth police began investigating the couple about three months ago, and about three weeks ago they called on deputies in Richland and Huron counties for help in shutting down the operation at the couple’s home.

“It was an illegal massage parlor with illegal sexual acts going on there,” Patrick said.

Neighbors first alerted police to the many vehicles coming and going from the 24-hour operation, as most of the customers stayed only 30 to 60 minutes and appeared to be from out of the area.

“A few of those clients were questioned,” Patrick said. “Not only were they receiving massages, they were receiving sexual favors as well.”

On Thursday, Plymouth police and Huron County deputies obtained a warrant to search the home, and they were joined by agents from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. They seized a massage table, two computers and various other evidence.

Endicott was arrested and charged with complicity to prostitution, while Endicott-Feng was charged with prostitution. The two have since been released from the Huron County jail.

A 16-year-old girl living in the home was placed with social workers, Patrick said, although investigators have no reason to suspect the girl was involved in the business operations.

Endicott-Feng has lived in the U.S. for only four years, Patrick said.

Police estimate the prostitution scheme may have been going on for up to six months.

“There’s no indication she was being forced to do this,” Patrick said. “However, we’re not going to rule that out.”

Richland County court records show Endicott-Feng tried unsuccessfully to obtain a protection order against her husband in February 2012.

Endicott is a registered sex offender, with the state database listing his home address as the West Broadway Street location. He was convicted in 2003 in Laurens County, S.C., for committing or attempting a lewd act upon a child under the age of 16, according to court records. The court sentenced him to four years in prison and five years probation.

Police said they plan to analyze the computers they seized from the massage parlor, in hopes of identifying customers who could ultimately face charges for soliciting sex.

Looks like he got a mail order bride and had her prostituting to stay here. If she couldn't get a protection order, she probably thought she had no recourse. That's human trafficing.

Just a Girl

He should've still been locked up for the 2003 conviction. 4 years? Big deal. He conveniently forgot not to have contact with a child too-who is the poor 16 year old?

starryeyes83

Why would anyone let these two near them?

Eeeewwww!

Don't most massage parlors sell sex????

JudgeMeNot

A massage parlor is a business where customers can receive a massage. What is so wrong with a "happy ending"?

Truth or Dare

Big difference between a Massage Parlor and a Massage Therapist. This woman hold any form of U.S. credentials/licensing , any proper training as to massage therapy? Will we learn the names of those that received massages as well extra services, will there be charges for them if that information is available through computer records, records of any kind? Someone may have hit the nail on the head with the human trafficking comment! Sick and sad, and I'm glad to hear the 16 yr. old was removed from the home! What I'm curious to know as well is what is her relationship to either of these individuals?

By the way, Ohio is rather lax when it comes to sex offenses and those committing them. All the more reason they'll choose to relocate within the Buckeye State.

"Richland County court records show Endicott-Feng tried unsuccessfully to obtain a protection order against her husband in February 2012."

So why wasn't she protected?

I agree! Ohio is a very corrupt state!

David Endicott could run for public office in Ohio and win.
