Sandusky's Rudolf makes old sleighs new again

If Santa Claus needs help getting his sleigh ready for his big night, he could come to Sandusky and look up Paul Rudolf.

Rudolf, 63, a retired sign painter who lives in Sandusky, has taken up a post-retirement vocation of restoring old sleighs.

On Thursday, one of his customers took delivery of an Albany Cutter Sleigh that Rudolf said is between 100 and 125 years old.

"And yes, it's a one-horse open sleigh," Rudolf said.

Man back in the 60's & 70's everyone wanted him to do thier pinstriping on their hot rods This man is AWESOME with free hand painting, Everyone only knew him as RUDY the pinstripe dude , if you had a paint job done by him ,You were the talk of the ave, you parked at the U Schade park now and let everyone admire it
