"Grandma Has Wings," Bosrock's first children's book after writing several others, came from inspiration when her two sons gave her six granddaughters.

The girls, unlike the boys, noticed things like arm fat, brown spots, veins and dropping chins, and Bosrock turned the experience into a story.

The book is illustrated by Darcy Bell-Myers.

Bosrock will sign books from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the shops at Sawmill Creek, and at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Providence Commons.

Bosrock's other books include the series "Put Your Best Food Forward," "European Business Customs and Manners," "Asian Business Customs and Manners," and "I Saw God."
