The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a dense fog advisory to remain in effect until 10 a.m. Monday. Dense fog with visibility of a quarter-mile or less is expected in areas from Findlay to Cleveland and from Marion to Akron. The dense fog will persist most of the night.
As surface temperatures reach freezing the fog will begin to freeze on unreated or elevated surfaces. Use caution on bridges, overpasses and sidewalks, which may become icy.
The dense fog may cause hazardous driving conditions in some areas. Motorists are advised to use caution and slow down, as objects on and near roadways will be seen only at close range.
