What an extensive amount of information Haag Enviro, owned by Bob and Ruth Haag, has provided to the City of Sandusky. Along with the documentation and files now available to any resident or business who might consider doing work in the city, this locally owned business was able to accomplish much for the local residents, as well as those who travel our beautiful lake and bayfront corridor. Bob and Ruth's professional expertise and personal commitment to this area should be greatly appreciated, as Bob and Ruth decided not only to live in the city, but also to locate their business there.

Others in our area seem to realize that: 1. Haag Enviro is a business, and 2. Bob and Ruth are individual residents. The two cannot be totally separated, while the city's decision to prematurely abort Haag Enviro's Brownfield Redevelopment Contract, this too may be noted by other businesses and other business owners when deciding where to locate.

At a regional meeting last week, a leader in the community said he is greatly impressed with Haag Enviro as a professional company and with Bob and Ruth Haag, personally. He said their company not only has the experience and expertise to assist this area to grow and develop, but he is also impressed with them personally by the way they conducted themselves as they worked with the area's diverse interest groups and environmental issues. As the area has been hit hard by the job losses, Bob and Ruth seem to understand the "good economic policy is also good environmental policy."

I am hopeful Bob and Ruth will continue to live and work in our community and that they can remain dedicated to the greater efforts as our community needs and deserves effective leadership! Thanks Bob and Ruth for leading the charge!
