Bellevue football team takes runner-up trophy at state

The Redmen ended their season as state runner-ups following a 42-21 loss in Canton. A welcome-home celebration is planned for their return to the school at around 4:30-5 p.m. today.

Ed could've looked a little more upbeat about the loss. They made it that far. Sure, it doesn't feel good to lose, but those boys gave it their best. That had to be a solemn bus ride home. I do have say this, though. Ed made a better team than Terry Adams could've ever dreamt of.
