Kudos to the Sandusky government for taking a resolute stand against the lawnmower vigilante. This type of vigilantism must be stopped: What would be next? Cleaning the windows at the city building? There would be no end to it.

This mean-spirited act destroyed the city's burgeoning effort to establish an in-town natural habitat. Has anybody considered the plight of the endangered woodchuck? Who among us has not had their heart warmed at the sight of a mother skunk guiding her young out of a field to nestle under their porch?

The dastardly act of cutting up trash and garbage with a lawn mower could not be tolerated. Had the vigilante considered the nutritional needs of raccoons?

As for the man's failure to obey a police officer, the police showed remarkable restraint by not "tazing the bro." That kind of insolence cannot be tolerated. Someone could have been injured. Have you ever had your foot run over by a lawnmower tire? It's not a pretty sight. It's high time our limited resources be directed to a swat team.

As for the prosecutor's quandary as to whether to prosecute or not, I say full speed ahead! You are making a name for yourself. This could be your opportunity for high office. You've already received national exposure. Besides this is the type of government the public has come to expect.

Now the whole country is aware that Sandusky will not accept or condone unpaid public servitude.

Besides, who has ever heard of unpaid public servitude?
