SANDUSKY

Karla Auker of the U.S.Environmental Protection Agency says city leaders must decide whether to drill at the coal tar plume.

She will speak to the city commission at a special public meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at city hall.

In an interview Wednesday, Auker said she doesn't support the formation of another committee that could delay a decision about the plume for at least two months. She said the city should drill the three holes to determine the exact location of the plume.
