HURON COUNTY

- Street resurfacing will begin in Norwalk on Monday, weather permitting. The following streets are scheduled: April 27 -- Madison and Mill streets; April 28 -- Harris and Collingwood streets; April 29 -- N. Pleasant Street; April 30 -- Southgate Street; May 4 -- Akron Road. Manholes will be raised from May 5-7.

- Ohio 60, 0.4 mile north of County Road 239 in Clarksfield Township, will close Monday, May 4 for a culvert replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is Ohio 60 to Ohio 18, east on Ohio18 to Ohio 511, north on Ohio 511 to Ohio 303, west on Ohio 303 to Ohio 60, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road will reopen on May 8, 2009.

- Ohio 60, 0.25 mile north of Section Line Road in New London Township, will close Monday, May 4 for a bridge replacement. The detour route for northbound motorists is Ohio 60 to Ohio 162, east on Ohio162 to Ohio 511, north on Ohio 511 to Ohio 18, west on Ohio 18 to Ohio 60, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road will reopen on June 18, 2009.
