GREENWICH TWP.

A recently-retired allergist who had offices in Sandusky and Cleveland was killed today in a two-vehicle crash in Greenwich Township.

Dr. James B. Sauers, 78, Greenwich, was on his way to get his morning paper in a 1998 Honda Accord at 8:21 a.m. when he ran a stop light at the intersection U.S. 224 and Ohio 13 and collided with a 2007 Ford F-250 pick up truck driven by 39-year-old Gregory Griffin, a family member and the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
