Brown allegedly assaulted Shenavia Duke after she asked about a phone number on his cell phone. Police observed she was bleeding from her right eye, her lip and the right side of her face was swollen. The assault took place in front of their young daughter.

Officer Matthew McPeek spotted Brown lying on the ground between a couch and a fence underneath a tarp that was covering the couch. At gunpoint McPeek lifted the tarp and found Brown, who initially refused officers’ orders to show his hands but eventually complied. Brown tried to walk away but was tackled to the ground by Officer Timothy Alexander. The two men wrestled before Brown was stunned with a Taser. Alexander sustained a large lump on the head when he hit a lawnmower during the altercation.

Well of course there would be a couch outside by the fence. Of course there would be. Where else would one store indoor furniture?
