In the past several months I have seen increased Ohio State Highway Patrol cars playing hid and seek in many areas of the city. As recently as Saturday March 7 at 1 p.m. another was seen on a Remington side street.

Talk about wasted dollars as speeders on Ohio 2 are going 80 plus mph with no one around. Another OSHP tailgated a cab on Perkins the week of March 1 just to see what? Another giving tickets at a Cleveland Avenue hotel, another on River Avenue and another on First Street.

Sure, I do understand they can do this, but why? We pay for our own officers, they do a great job,yet what is with the lock down by OSHP?

Go look on 250 or some state highway that you are suppose to protect and quit harassing the city of Sandusky homeowners. Are you trying to prove something in the court system? Or is at all making money? Maybe the city needs some of the OSHP budget we all pay for.
