PORT CLINTON

By land or lake, Port Clinton firefighters have to be ready for any type of rescue.

But when the rescuers venture into marshes, swampy farmland, flooded and snow-packed areas and Lake Erie ice and water, their vehicles cannot take them.

That's why the Port Clinton Firefighter's Association is working to get the first responders a SUV-sized amphibious all-terrain vehicle.
