CLYDE

The wholesale power supplier AMP Ohio has commissioned a wind test of a blustery corridor between Clyde and Bellevue as a potential site for a wind farm.

Wind tests at the site, which are being conducted by North Coast Wind and Power, Port Clinton, have just passed the six-month benchmark. A year of data is needed to make a decision on the feasibility, a company official said.
