SANDUSKY

Danisha Morris, 15, who loved to write poetry, draw, and taught herself to play guitar, hung herself Jan. 5 in the basement of the Lakewood home where she lived with her sister Aireeya, 11, and brother Cornelius, 7.

Her mother, Tanehca Paden, said next to being able to bring her daughter back, what she wants most is to honor her with a decent funeral. Paden, who grew up in Sandusky, can’t afford the $5,200 it’s going to cost to bury Danisha.
