Boats and monsters seem to go well together, at least at Cedar Point. The Progressive North American Demo Boat Show, billed as the largest in-water boat show on the Great Lakes, returns the same weekend that HalloWeekends opens at Cedar Point.

The show has been revamped to make it easier for boaters to see a demonstration of how a boat handles in the water, said Mike DiLorenzo, a spokesman for the Lake Erie Marine Trades Association.
