MILAN

Milan Elementary students got a chance Monday to pet a skunk pelt, peek at bugs through a microscope and go bird-watching in four "habitats."

The Columbus science museum COSI brought the outdoors inside at the school with "What's Wild," a traveling exhibition about wildlife biology.

The whole school gathered in the gymnasium to hear a presentation from Brecken Farnsworth about what a field biologist does and what needs animals have -- food, water, shelter and space.
