A line at least 100 deep formed at the Erie County Board of Elections office this morning, reaching down the hallway, out the door and down the building's steps as early voters cast their ballots the day before the election.
As of 11 a.m., nearly 12,700 voters filled out ballots since early voting began Sept. 30.
Deputy director Jennifer Ferback said the line has been constant since 7:30 a.m.
"I have no idea how long the lines are going to be (tomorrow)," she said. "Especially considering how many absentee voters we've had."
