On Nov. 4 we will learn not only the identity of our next president, but also the fate of two state troopers fired for a racially insensitive prank.
The two troopers, who hope to get their jobs back, presented their arguments during a Sept. 4 arbitration hearing. Susan Grody-Ruben, the arbitrator, was scheduled to release a ruling Oct. 20, but that deadline passed with no word. Now the ruling is expected to be announced Nov. 4, said Sgt. Tim Kawartske, an Ohio State Highway Patrol spokesman.
