A machine used to manufacture styrofoam cups and bowls has gone missing, according to the Erie County Sheriff's office.
An employee at Arthur Corp., 1305 Huron-Avery Road, noticed the machine was missing Sept. 16. The machine was moved earlier this summer to another warehouse on the property while work was done on the warehouse where the machine was usually housed.
"They were in the process of putting everything back together, and it was gone," Capt. Paul Sigsworth said. The machine -- described in the reports as a milkshake mold -- is worth $473,250, according to the sheriff's report.
