MILAN

After 82 years in business, a local dealership announced it is closing its Chevrolet branch.

Dorr Chevrolet, 12400 Milan Road, became Dorr Automotive earlier this week after its owners entered a private agreement with General Motors to streamline competition.

"This facility will continue to provide service, parts, maintenance and repairs," Dorr Automotive president Bruce Molnar said. "But owners of Chevrolets who need warranty repairs will have to take their vehicles elsewhere."
