PORT CLINTON

A jury returned a not guilty verdict moments ago in the Erin Baker trial.

The 26-year-old former assistant sports coach was initially charged with 55 counts of sexually assaulting a student-athlete between 2005 and 2006 when the girl was a freshman and sophomore.

Baker met the girl as a volunteer coach for the Port Clinton eighth-grade girls basketball team.
