FREMONT
College student Brandan Biggert's acing tests, studying hard and balancing his workload -- but his plate's a little fuller than his peers'.
Diagnosed with Plasmacytoma in July 2007 after visiting a doctor for abdominal pain, Biggert, a 2004 graduate of Fremont High School, is enduring his second round of chemotherapy and is a candidate for a bone marrow transplant.
He and his family are crossing their fingers, hoping a matching donor will soon be found.
