The site that formerly housed Geauga Lake amusement park will likely sit vacant a while longer.

Cedar Fair CEO Dick Kinzel told analysts Thursday that two bids the company received for portions of the property were not high enough.

"We haven't liked any proposals, mainly because of the economy in Cleveland," Kinzel said. "It doesn't make sense (to sell now) when we can afford to wait a few years, when the economy turns around ... and it will."
