SANDUSKY

It started as a three-hour tour, but wound up being an ordeal that's lasted more than four decades.

And beginning July 19, the castaways from Gilligan's Island land at the State Theatre for seven live performances.

Mike Majer, 23, of Vermilion, will play the hapless Gilligan. Toby Whinnery, 50, of Sandusky, plays the Skipper.

All of the players in this Gilligan's Island hail from this region.
