Don't forget the meeting tonight at the Sandusky Library to discuss the $1.1 million Columbia Gas project on Osborne Street.
The 6:30 p.m. meeting will explain how the project — which begins July 1 — will affect the 300 customers on Osborne, Hayes, McDonough, North Depot, Carr, Brown, Camp, Polk, Prospect, Ransom, Seneca, Shelby and Taylor streets and Central Avenue.
Representatives from Columbia Gas of Ohio will be present to answer questions and discuss how the 12,000 feet of natural gas main line will be replaced.
The project is part of a $2 billion capital investment program by Columbia in the next 25 years to improve safety and reliability of the pipeline system and ensure customer access to adequate supplies of natural gas.
Read in Wednesday's Register about how the project will impact local residents.
