Bryce Haase is scouting a trail for generations to come.
Haase, 14, son of Rich and Barb Haase, will turn the former drive-in theater property on Cleveland Road into a hiking trail for Erie MetroParks and the city.
Haase, who will soon be a sophomore at Huron High School, is creating the trail for his Eagle Scout project. The quarter-mile trail will be through open fields and prairie grass areas.
"I hope people can use it year-round," Bryce said.
