After 88 years, Margaretta Schools is saying goodbye to Townsend School.
With finances dwindling from year to year, school district officials decided it would be in the district's best interest to relocate the fourth- through sixth-grade classes to Bogart Elementary.
The Townsend building will be leased to the Erie-Huron-Ottawa Educational Service Center's Shawnee School.
