SANDUSKY

An Internet celebrity is hiding out in Sandusky.

Sandusky's best kept secret might be Chris Bores, creator of "The Irate Gamer," a YouTube video series.

Bores, writer/actor/director of the videos, first posted an Irate Gamer video in April 2007. Each episode reviews a video game using a variety of special effects.

"They are video game reviews from the view of an irate gamer who has to play these old games and gets really ticked off at all the flaws in games and the poorly constructed games," Bores said. "There was about 100 people at the time doing the same thing I was, but there wasn't any production value to it. They were just slapped together. I thought this was something I could do and excel at."

And excel he did. The series has over 30,000 subscribers on YouTube and averages between 100,000-300,000 views every episode. Bores said he's the second most popular YouTube video game reviewer and around the 80th most popular out of everyone on the site.
