An hour after Michael Gravelle was scheduled to appear in court, he was still a no show.
Sandusky Municipal Court Judge Erich O'Brien said he would issue a bench warrant for the man's arrest this afternoon.
Gravelle, 59, 700 block of Wayne St., faces a misdemeanor count of domestic violence. He was arrested by Sandusky police in March on allegations he abused his wife, Sharen, in the parking lot of Lake Erie Arts and Crafts.
Two years ago the Gravelles were at the center of a media frenzy regarding the treatment of their 11 special needs children. In February 2007, a Huron County jury found the couple guilty of four felony counts of child endangerment and seven misdemeanor counts of child abuse. Both are out on bond waiting the result of their appeal.
