SANDUSKY

A couple who formerly led the local Salvation Army post were convicted this morning of stealing thousands of dollars from the charity.

Matthew and Bonnie Crisp each pleaded no contest to aggravated theft and were found guilty of the offense in Erie County Common Pleas Court.

Between $100,000 and $500,000 was stolen from the charity. The couple ran the post from 1994 until June 2005.
