State Sen. Mark Wagoner, R-Toledo, has submitted his "wish list" of capital improvements projects for Erie and Ottawa counties, but the senator doesn't know yet what he'll get when it's time to look under the tree.
The Ohio General Assembly is scheduled to approve a two-year capital improvements budget this year. Each year, about $100 million is set aside for community projects, Wagoner explained Friday.
The senator has submitted a list of seven projects for Erie and Ottawa counties, and also turned in a separate list for Lucas and Wood counties in the western half of his Senate district.
It's "very unlikely" all seven projects from north-central Ohio will be approved at the amount requested, Wagoner said.
