Though it has lain dormant for years, city leaders believe the Keller Building still houses some potential.
Commissioners Dave Waddington and Dennis Murray Jr. toured the building Wednesday with Bob and Ruth Haag of Haag Environmental Co. Both Murray and Waddington said they were a bit surprised at the condition of the five-story structure that once housed offices of the Hinde and Dauch Paper Co.
The Keller Building iscondemned but not hopeless.
"The damage is pretty much confined to this small section," Bob Haag said, pointing to the center of the building where a portion of the roof caved in.
