Through the highs and lows of a half century of songs, Firelands Chorus sings on.

On May 3, Firelands Chorus will celebrate its 50th anniversary during its annual spring concert with Miss America 1963 Jackie Mayer as emcee.

"We're looking for a lot of alumni to come back and sing with us," chorus president Linda Dickman said.

At the spring concert, the chorus will perform two songs that were sung at the chorus' first performance in 1958: "Someday" and "It's a Grand Night for Singing."
