Perkins Township fire Chief Rick Myosky is calling out a local tavern for what the chief calls “deliberate and intentional” overcrowding that he says poses a danger to the public.
Myosky said when he looked in the door Saturday night at The Pump Bar & Grill at Strub Road and Hayes Avenue in Perkins Township, it was obviously overcrowded.
“You couldn’t fall down if you had to,” he said. “They are creating a hazardous environment.”
The fire chief said he wants to start billing The Pump when it violates occupancy limits and also wants to pursue possible charges against thebusiness.
