It's taking some time, but residents should soon be in the groove with the city's alarm policy.
About two months after the city ordinance against repeat false alarms was enacted, 62 alarms have been called into the Sandusky Police Department, said Charlie Sams, assistant police chief.
Sams said he believes the program is working.
"The response has been good," he said. "People are being put on notice and taking care of it."
